August was another good month for home sales with 17 homes sold in the Grand Forks and Christina Lake area. The days on market for current listings was down to 64 days which is a significant drop from July 2019. The inventory of listings is moving quickly in the latter part of this summer which should continue into the fall market. The average price of single family dwellings was up from August 2018. The average price of single family dwellings with acreages was down from July 2018 but the the number of listings sold did not make this stat very meaningful. Overall another strong month with home sales up for August 2019 when compared to August 2019 indicating a healthy market will prevail into the fall months.
